Defence Industries Corporation of Nigeria (DICON) Visits Buckler Land Systems

Buckler Land Systems had the honor of hosting a distinguished delegation from the Defence Industries Corporation of Nigeria (DICON) on February 2, 2024. The visit was led by DICON’s Director General, Major General A.E. Edet, accompanied by his team (I don’t mind their names Sir).

The primary objective of the visit was to assess Buckler Land Systems’ facilities, capabilities, and potential for partnership in vehicle and military equipment manufacturing, as well as training programs. During their visit, the DICON delegation had the opportunity to tour our state-of-the-art head office and production facilities.

Major General Edet expressed his appreciation for Buckler Land Systems’ comprehensive manufacturing capabilities and commended our commitment to local production. He was particularly impressed by the advanced equipment and infrastructure that have enabled us to deliver high-quality solutions tailored to meet the unique requirements of the defense sector.

A highlight of the visit was the commissioning of the Buckler Center for Defense Studies by Major General Edet. This world-class training facility is designed to provide cutting-edge education and skill development programs for defense professionals, further solidifying our dedication to knowledge sharing and capacity building.
