Position Overview:

We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Human Resource Manager who will play a pivotal role in driving our human capital strategies. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional leadership skills, a deep understanding of HR practices, and the ability to foster a positive and productive work environment. This role is critical in ensuring that Buckler Systems attracts, develops, and retains top talent to support our mission.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Talent Acquisition and Management:
    • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
    • Oversee the entire recruitment process, including job postings, interviewing, and selection.
    • Ensure a smooth onboarding process for new hires, facilitating their integration into the company.
  • Employee Relations:
    • Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes employee engagement and satisfaction.
    • Address employee concerns and grievances in a timely and professional manner.
    • Implement initiatives to improve workplace culture and morale.
  • Performance Management:
    • Develop and manage performance appraisal systems to evaluate and enhance employee performance.
    • Provide guidance and support to managers in setting performance goals and conducting evaluations.
    • Identify and address areas for employee development and growth.
  • Compliance and Policy Development:
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws and regulations.
    • Develop, implement, and update HR policies and procedures as needed.
    • Provide training and guidance to employees on company policies and best practices.
  • Training and Development:
    • Identify training needs and develop programs to enhance employee skills and competencies.
    • Coordinate and deliver training sessions on various topics, including compliance, leadership, and technical skills.
    • Monitor the effectiveness of training programs and make improvements as necessary.
  • HR Administration:
    • Oversee payroll, benefits administration, and employee records management.
    • Ensure accurate and timely processing of HR-related documentation.
    • Utilize HRIS systems to streamline HR processes and improve efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
    • Professional HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is highly desirable.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 7 years of experience in human resources management, preferably within the manufacturing or defense industry.
    • Proven track record of successfully managing HR functions and leading HR initiatives.
  • Skills and Abilities:
    • Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and legal requirements.
    • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
    • Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office applications.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions.
