Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Senior Accounts Officer to join our esteemed Finance team. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned professional with a vast understanding of financial management and a passion for accuracy and efficiency. This role offers an exceptional opportunity to contribute to the financial integrity and strategic direction of our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage comprehensive accounting functions, including general ledger management, financial reporting, and budgeting.
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial transactions and records, adhering to established accounting principles and standards.
- Prepare and present detailed financial analyses and reports to support strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align financial strategies with organizational goals and objectives.
- Monitor and evaluate financial performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing effective solutions.
- Lead the preparation for internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.
- Develop and mentor junior accounting staff, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement within the finance team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., ICAN, CPA) is highly Preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance, with a proven track record in a Senior/Team lead role.
- Strong proficiency in accounting software and financial management systems.
- Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
